Find the #OnlyinMN Mini-Monument
The Bell Museum is commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing by hosting a year of special events, guests and educational opportunities. From late May into early June, the museum will showcase Museum of the Moon, by UK artist Luke Jerram. The seven meter spherical sculpture of Earth's Moon is a fusion of NASA imagery, stimulated moonlight and surround sound composition created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award winning composer Dan Jones.
Cannon Valley Trail will host the large #OnlyinMN Monument in celebration of National Trails Day on June 1. Visit the monument at the Welch Access Station, snap selfies and enter the Facebook and Instagram contests using the hashtags #CannonValleyTrail and #NationalTrailsDay2019. The winner will receive a Sturdiwheat gift package.
